Terms and conditions 2020/21  During Covid Pandemic 

We will not put the community of Dolgellau and Wales at risk.  This also applies to our guests.  We want you to have a great break whilst adhering to the latest Welsh guidance https://www.gov.wales

  • If any guests are displaying any symptoms of the virus prior to arrival, please do not attend. 

  • If any guest feels the symptoms during the stay, please return home immediately and notify us as you are not allowed to isolate in the cottage

  • We are supporting track and trace and require all guest details prior to arrival (Name, Date birth and home address) which will be retained for 28 days.  If you do not provide this information, the booking will be null and void. 

  • Any guests who declare that they are developing symptoms or who have discovered that they have had contact with someone who since has developed symptoms, then they should return home immediately

  • At that point, the cottage will immediately close and the changeover team informed.

  • The cottage will close for 7 days and will be subject to the deep clean and will be reviewed prior to reopening. Future guests will also be informed. 

  • Guests are asked to inform us up to 14 days after departure if they start to develop symptoms.  This will be reviewed on a case by case basis using track and trace

  • There is a track and trace QR code in the cottage for your use to check in

  • Pricing is based on 4-person occupancy (with the use a king size bed and 2 singles).  There is the capability to use the double sofa bed in the lounge.  If this is the case, we reserve the right to charge £5 per night extra 

  • The cottage will be ordinarily available from 4pm on the day of arrival.  This may need to be extended for same day change overs but we will inform you if this is the case 

  • Departure time is 10am.

  • The cottage will be cleaned and checked prior to your arrival with clean bedding, but you will need to bring your own towels. 

  • A deposit of £60 is required to secure the booking – until the deposit is received, the booking is not confirmed.  

  • This £60 deposit goes towards the balance.  If the cottage is closed, then we will either transfer the deposit to a new date or refund and cancel your visit.  

  • Payments towards the balance can be made at any time.

  • Access to the cottage will not be given until full payment is recerived.

  • We will ideally require full payment for your stay no later than 2 weeks prior to arrival, or in the case of a booking with less than 4 weeks’ notice, we will require full payment at time of booking.

  • If you do have to cancel the booking, we ask that you put this in writing (email brynwnion@icloud.com)

  • During this period of time, we need to inform you that if you decide to cancel while we are open the following will apply (Subject to regular reviews)

  • Cancellation with more than 2 weeks’ notice prior to date of arrival, full refund or move your booking to a date that is convenient to both parties.

  • Cancellation with less than 2 weeks’ notice, no deposit refund - guests should consider travel insurance for such eventualities. 

  • Please let us know of any damage or breakages so we can repair or replace them for the next guests. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages.

  • Any damage caused by pets must be paid for.

  • Smoking IS NOT permitted in the cottage or in the rear yard.

  • Pets are permitted – we are dog owners ourselves.  However, Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.  Owners must clean up any mess created by pets (inside and outside).  

  • Any cupboard with a lock on, is not for guests use.

  • None recycling waste – the bin will be emptied every other week on a Monday (See welcome pack on arrival for dates) – please ensure the orange sticker is facing the road and the bin is out on a Sunday- we will speak with guests and remind of waste disposal dates.

  • Recycling is a priority for Gwynedd Council Recycling waste is every week and the bins need to be out the front of the cottage on Wednesday evenings.

  • We ask that you respect the area and our immediate neighbours and keep noise down to a minimum later at night.  

  • Please report any problems to us immediately so that we can do our very best to put it right at our earliest opportunity so that you can enjoy your stay.

  • Your personal items are left at the cottage at your own risk so please consider your own insurance if you are bringing any valuable items

  • You agree to allow the Owners or agents access to the Property at all reasonable times. We will only ever request access to BrynWnion in case of an emergency, e.g. a water leak during guest stays.

  • We ask that you please leave the cottage in the state in which you found it on departure and please follow the instructions in the welcome book on how to close the cottage down.

  • We hope you enjoy the stay in BrynWnion. Thank you for reading and agreeing to our terms and conditions
